"At times I get to thinking about the different types of songs that I have written and how could I expand my vision. After listening to Dougie Maclean one day I thought, "I can write a Celtic tune".... and..... I DID! It was only AFTER I had written the tune that I realized this could be about the Scottish Highlands BUT also about my beloved Blue Ridge Mountains and Marco's beloved Pre-Alps. Later we decide to make it part of a "suite" with two other beautiful pieces of music written by Marco and Francesco. Together I think they make a most beautiful Suite of Celtic music." Ron Martin
